Arts at the Palace is excited to celebrate its 4th birthday this summer! We recognize that this achievement would not have been possible without your support and the support of others like you who recognize the importance of having a cultural center available to the Greater Hamilton area.
As we begin this year of programming, Arts at the Palace remains committed to its mission of presenting, developing, and expanding the reach of the arts. In addition to Jazz at Noon and Main Stage, a new Theater for Young Audiences initiative kicks off in the fall. From Script to Stage will embark on the next phase of building a summer residency program for theater artists and there will be an increased emphasis on offering classes and workshops specific to the performing arts. Additionally, the renovation of the main and mezzanine floors will provide an even more attractive and updated option for rentals and community use.
In less than four years, AATP has reimagined the historic Palace Theater as a home for local, regional, and national performing artists through the highly popular Jazz at Noon and Main Stage series and events such as Cabin Fever. From Script to Stage dazzled audiences last year with sold out performances of world premiere theater works, providing area playwrights, directors, and performers with the opportunity to develop new music and plays. Two mini-series, UndergroundLive and Theater Documents engaged local audiences in new and intriguing ways.
Our vision and desire to serve area residents remain strong and we hope you will join us. Financial support is crucial to maintain staffing and provide programming. The 2019 Annual Appeal goal is $10,000 – please consider joining your neighbors who are helping us reach that goal. The Palace Theater has stood at the heart of the Village of Hamilton for over 100 years and Arts at the Palace is dedicated to securing that legacy into its next century.
Thank you for your support.
