NBT Bank Main Stage Series to Present Soul Steps on Feb. 27

New York City-based Soul Steps will perform on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. as part of the NBT Bank Main Stage Series at Arts at the Palace in Hamilton.

Using the body as a percussive instrument, Soul Steps performs the African-American college tradition known as “stepping” while exploring the universality and language of rhythm and soul.  The group has performed nationally and internationally performing in communities from Brooklyn to Kosovo to Ireland.  The New York Times describes the production as, “…electric and joyous…shines in floor-skimming speed and percussive embroidery.”
