We hope you and your families are safe and well, and our hearts go out to everyone who is experiencing hardships or loss at this time. We’re planning and working on how best to be of service to the local and artistic communities in the coming months.

On April 27th, we launched a free spring youth theater workshop online geared for middle- and high-school students—Writing the 10-Minute Play with Gwyneth Davies.

We’ve also curated a series of Arts Together | Hamilton Conversations online gatherings to experience and discuss the arts with professional artists.

And we’re working on our 2021 arts-based tourism project—Hamilton Summer Arts Fest—with the Village of Hamilton and the Hamilton Business Alliance. We’ll be able to announce more details about this important economic development program soon.

Our community friends have always shown us that you believe in the value of the arts, and we thank you for your tremendous past support!

As you know, it is an extremely difficult time for local businesses and non-profits—if you have the means, your donation to our 2020 Annual Appeal is needed now more than ever. We’ve had to cancel programs and facility rentals due to COVID-19 issues, and your gift will help us to fund vital basic expenses that grant funding and other sources are simply unavailable to cover.

The CARES Act establishes a new, above-the-line deduction (universal or non-itemized deduction) for total charitable contributions of up to $300 made in 2020 that would be claimed on tax forms next year (please consult your tax advisor for specific advice). Perhaps this can be of help in your philanthropic planning this year.
