June 4, 2021: Arts at the Palace is currently open for media production, performances, and in-person classes. We will also continue to offer selected virtual programs.

  • Classes and performances are limited in number of attendees based on current NY State and Madison County Health Department guidelines for capacity.
  • A seating plan has been created to ensure that patrons (individuals or groups) can be seated 6′ apart as needed, up to 100 people.
  • Arts at the Palace has adopted the May 19, 2021 NYS guidance on CDC guidelines for masks and social distancing for fully-vaccinated individuals (no masks or social distancing are required).
  • For all non-vaccinated individuals, masks and social distancing are required.
  • Youth classes will require masks and social distancing for all participants.
  • Patrons, performers, employees, and others must complete a written or online screening questionnaire before entering the Palace Theater. Temperature checks will be conducted for all those participating in classes or performances.
  • Employees, teachers, performers, and volunteers must present proof of vaccination or recent negative COVID-19 test result (e.g., PCR/NAAT within 72 hours or antigen within 6 hours prior to admission) for all classes and performances.
  • Performers must maintain a distance of 12′ from patrons when performing.
  • Separate entrance and exit doors are in use to avoid cross-traffic.
  • Floor stickers are in use to indicate social distancing markers and directional guides.
  • Stairs to restrooms will be monitored during a performance to ensure staggered use for social distancing.
  • Food and beverages are not permitted at this time except for bottled drinking water, which is available as needed.
