LISTEN, LOUNGE, & LUNCH with us on Saturday, February 11th, as ‘JAZZ at NOON’ celebrates Valentine’s Day!
It’s February – and we need all of the warmth and love we can get! We do hope you’ll come celebrate the ‘season of love’ with us in the cozy, relaxed atmosphere of, ‘THE PALACE UNDERGROUND’ – a true Hamilton hot-spot, and birthplace of our tremendously popular Jazz at Noon series. Please mark your calendars for: Saturday, February 11th, 12-2pm!
This month, trumpeter/host, Jim McDowell will introduce trombonist/multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire — young Ethan Cypress (2015 graduate of the Crane School of music), and bring back the amazing talents of two Jazz at Noon favorites, Rich Mollin on bass and Jimmy Johns on vibraphone. Dianne Adams McDowell will join in for some tunes, and we have some great guest vocalists, too: That bluesy powerhouse, Leslie Pasco, will belt out some tunes for us, and also be joined by vocalist Brian Murphy for a special duet in honor of Valentine’s Day. And we’ll introduce to Jazz at Noon audiences a gifted Colgate student who, during her 4 years, has contributed so much to the music scene on the hill — simply a sublime singer, Brittney Dorow ’17!
If you are feeling hungry, CHARTWELLS, will (once again) be working their culinary magic in the kitchen – creating a savory lunch & delicious dessert.
So on Saturday, Feb. 11th, after your morning shopping around town, why not treat your sweetie – or yourself? Come to the Palace Underground and LISTEN, LOUNGE, & LUNCH with Jazz at Noon, sponsored by Chobani.
