We wish to make the bittersweet announcement that our longstanding Technical Director, Luke Marshall, has stepped down to pursue new opportunities. Luke has been an essential part of Arts at the Palace since its birth, making a significant contribution of skill, expertise, and vision to our organization. His depth of knowledge and professionalism have been unparalleled.
Luke began working at the Palace Theater in 2004 when he was 17 years old, not long after a major renovation turned the historic building back into a performing arts venue. He worked throughout several iterations of the Palace, whether it focused on music or theater, or as it does now, as a nonprofit community arts organization.
In October 2016, he met Lauren Cassulis, who had begun working with Arts at the Palace as Marketing Associate, and Luke and Lauren married in February 2019.
Arts at the Palace truly is a family, and we can’t imagine what it will be like without Luke’s quick thinking, quick-wittedness, and huge, generous heart. However, we wish him all the best as he focuses on his practice Naturopathic Resources (recently featured in the Mid-York weekly).
Cheers to you, Luke! We will miss you.
