Calling all performers of music, theater, and dance!

Palace Street Players is a future group of art makers who will create and perform projects for senior living communities, hospitals, and other off-site venues.

Performers will plan projects with Artistic Director Lisette Shiffer, using input from the community in the spirit of mutual aid and collaboration.

Planning and rehearsals will take place over Zoom. Performances will be LIVE and involve separate elements designed to work together as a whole.

Players will receive an honorarium You must be at least 18 years old to join the group.

Lisette Shiffer grew up in Hamilton, NY, and moved back three years ago after living several different places like London, Colorado, and NYC. She has been acting coach at The Spot Dance for the past two years and has been a part of many productions with Morrisville State College. Her most recent roles have been Assistant Director for Addams Family the Musical and Jackie in The Boys Next Door. She also worked with Colgate University Theater as the Community Choir Coordinator for their production of Antigone. She had her first taste of acting when she was 15 and her mom encouraged her to audition for her school’s drama club production. She’s had the acting bug ever since. Lisette holds a BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY Fredonia and a postgraduate diploma from the Central School of Speech and Drama, London, UK, and she studied at Stella Adler Studio in NYC. She has worked with theatre companies in Colorado and New York acting, teaching, and even backstage work. Her favorite roles that she has played have been Ado Annie in Oklahoma and Olivia in Twelfth Night, which she played twice. She has been a vegan for 13 years and loves Oreos.
