Help celebrate Roald Dahl Day!

A community wide celebration of literacy and the arts in Hamilton, NY

Free activities for all ages are available at a variety of locations around town!

Join us on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 as we celebrate Roald Dahl Day in Hamilton, NY! There will be a variety of activities for all ages at different times and locations throughout the village. Come to just one, or come to them all! Admission to the day’s programs and activities is free.

Schedule of Events:

10 a.m. — Colgate Bookstore, 3 Utica St.: Stop in at the Colgate Bookstore for crafts! Make Matilda ships and enjoy special chocolate cake pops from Maxwell's Chocolates & Ice Cream.

11 a.m. — Arts at the Palace, 19 Utica St.: Head over to the Palace Theater for a live sing-along with Jenni Larchar of Jenni’s Music Studio! Kids of all ages are welcome to sing and dance along.

12 p.m. — Hamilton Movie Theater, 7 Lebanon St.: Next, it’s time for lunch and a movie! Enjoy free pizza from Oliveri’s Pizzeria while watching a free showing of "Matilda" (1996, PG), sponsored by the Colgate Bookstore.
