The Hamilton Community Players present a staged reading of George Orwell’s 1945 allegorical masterpiece, “Animal Farm,” as adapted by Nelson Bond. Set against the backdrop of a revolt by barnyard animals against Farmer Jones, the story reflects events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 and then the onset of Stalinist dictatorship in the Soviet Union. This cautionary tale of corruption, ignorance and greed translates into a powerful theatrical experience. For tickets, hamiltoncreates.com or at the door. All tickets $10.
