The performance Crónica de una mujer ultrajada (Chronicle of an Outraged Woman) is an adaptation of the play La señora en su balcón (1959) by Mexican playwright Elena Garro, who redefines the theatrical space to resist, challenge, and dismantle masculine structures of power and political repression, including race and gender-based violence.
This play examines the journey of Clara, a character that at different stages of her life has been oppressed by the patriarchal system in the search of her identity.
