The independent democracy of Taiwan- the producer of the world's best semi-conductor chips- is under massive pressure from the People's Republic of China to return to the motherland. This presentation focuses on the people of Taiwan and how they understand their current position.

Presenter: David Robinson is the Robert H.N. Ho Professor in Asian Studies and a Professor of History at Colgate University. For the last 40 years, he has regularly traveled to China, Taiwan, and Japan for research and study. 

Annual memberships are available for both individuals and families.  However, all presentations are open to non-members for a $10 fee.
